GLS Landscape Architecture
Gary Strang is a landscape architect and
architect who has practiced in the Bay Area
for almost 25 years.

Prior to opening GLS, Mr. Strang spent seven years as an associate architect, bringing landscape architecture capabilities to a San Francisco architecture office recognized nationally for urban design, planning and housing design. He has taught extensively at the University of California, Davis in the Department of Landscape Architecture, and at the University of California, Berkeley in the Department of Architecture, and currently serves on the board of the San Francisco Center for Architecture and Design. He has written articles in national journals and speaks regularly about contemporary landscapes and their relationship to architecture and infrastructure.

The work of GLS has been exhibited in New York, San Francisco and Berkeley.
