Emeryville Greenway

Four blocks of linear City parks and multi-family housing on the site of an abandoned railroad spur. Railroad tracks and toxic soils were removed to convert former light industrial sites to residential uses, parks and a plaza at Powell and Hollis (Emeryville's busiest intersection). The GLS design follows the master plan for the North Hollis Urban Design Area by ROMA, and provides much needed green space for Emeryville, and emergency vehicle access to the housing.
