Marine Mammal Rescue Center

Site restoration and conversion of Nike missile silo overlooking the Pacific Ocean in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area (GGNRA) to an education center and hospital for marine mammals. In addition to terraces and courtyards for visitors; and pools and solar panel awnings for animals, the project includes a no-irrigation, 100% native coastal scrub restoration with plantings grown from genetically pure local seed.
